United Sailing Sims

Founded by Marktwain White in Second Life, the United Sailing Sims is a collection of well over a hundred sims withing SL dedicated to sailing, surfing, flying, ship to ship combat via ironclads, tall ships and more. In partnership with Linden lab it hosts daily sail boat races, battles, and plays hosts to thousands of casual visitors as well. It’s a project I was deeply involved in with Artificial Isle but now take a more subtle role in.

Tachyon Shift

Tachyon Shift is a fleet and community site for Star Trek Online, it was created out of a need for a better source than the official STO forums to discuss PvP strategies and theories with other players, as well as communicate through a blog ideas and news about the game. It also covers PvE content such as the Special Task Force missions and the Fleet Actions, with tutorials and video to guide one through the rough spots of the game.
Artificial Isle

Artificial Isle

Created first on the SL mainland in 2005, Artificial Isle was a residential and event space located in Second Life within the center of the United Sailing Sims. It was a highly themed property, home to conventions, steam punk ironclad battles, an airport, homes and stores crossing many genres and interests. Though it was great fun and very creatively full filling, it ultimately came to an end  in 2010 due to personal complications that made it impossible to continue its’ upkeep.
